All About Mrs. Martinek!

Hello!  My name is Robin Martinek.  I am thrilled to be a part of the St. John the Baptist Catholic School Family.  I look forward to an amazing year.  This is my fourth year at SJB and my ninth year teaching.  My previous experience includes 4 years in 2nd grade, 1 year in Pre-K and three years in 4th grade, all have been in Catholic Schools.  My husband, Dustin and I have two children, Madison, a Freshman at Colorado State University and Davis, a Freshman at Holy Family High School.  I am a native Texan and graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.  I come from a very close family and was the only one that moved more than an hour away from home.  We are blessed to have Dustin’s mom close by so we do have family around.  My free time is spent with my children and their activities from dance (Madison is a dance major at CSU so still performing) to football, basketball and baseball.  And my favorite time of year is the Fall and Early Winter(before the snow) with the beautiful colors (oranges), holidays and of course, Longhorn Football.

Dustin and I, both have a deep passion for Catholic Schools and the opportunities they provide to nurture our children spiritually as well as academically.  We truly believe that the sacrifices we make to send our children to Catholic Schools will aid us as parents in raising children that will achieve greatness not only in their academic lives but their moral and spiritual lives as well.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year with your children.  It is going to be a very exciting year for all of us.  I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns anytime.  I will check email regularly before and after school. My school email address is   Thank you for the opportunity to teach your child!
