St. John the Baptist Catholic School offers our students the following:
  • State of the art computer lab equipped with 28 high end desktop computers and SmartBoard®
  • Chromebooks for each student in grades 3-8
  • 2 Mobile iPad labs with 25 iPads per lab
  • 10 Nikon Digital Cameras for digital photography units
  • Creative digital photography art with Adobe Photoshop®
  • Logo designs for SJB Fun Run with Adobe Illustrator®
  • 8th Grade Digital Media – a lab for all 8th graders to design, create and edit the school’s yearbook using Adobe software such as InDesign and Photoshop
  • Students learn the basics of page layout, photo enhancing and editing
  • Web based curriculum for teaching and mastering keyboarding skills
  • School goal for our students is to achieve a 35 word per minute rate at 95% or higher accuracy by 8th grade.
  • Internet Safety Curriculum in conjunction with FBI Safe Online Surfing beginning in 3rd grade
  • Online research skills using Big 6® model
  • Technology efficiency skills utilizing Microsoft Office® - Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel
  • Classrooms are all equipped with SMART Boards and Document Cameras.
